Thursday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Position summary
Clyde Public Library is seeking an Adult and Teen Services Librarian to support programming, outreach, and public service for adult and teen patrons in a small rural library setting.
Primary responsibilities
Provide reference, readers’ advisory, and technology assistance in person, by phone, and online.
Plan and present adult and teen programs, including occasional off-site programs.
Coordinate presenters, logistics, and promotional materials.
Support outreach efforts and community partnerships.
Assist with circulation and public service desk coverage as needed.
Supervise library operations in the absence of the Library Director, as assigned.
Occasional local or regional travel for programs, meetings, or training is required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience in public service, programming, education, or libraries.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
