NORWELD provides quality continuing education and professional development opportunites for library staff. Continuing education opportunities are offered on a variety of topics for all levels of staff through in-person workshops, special events, and webinars. View our calendar for upcoming events.
On-Site Staff Training and Development
NORWELD offers full members a variety of customizable, on-site staff training sessions that vary in length from 1 to 4 hours. All training sessions are led by NORWELD staff. Training is also available at the NORWELD office, dependent upon attendance needs, without mileage reimbursement.
Fee
Full NORWELD members receive up to eight hours annually, after which training is invoiced at $50/hour (total includes training and travel time).
Nonmembers are billed at $150/hour with mileage reimbursement.
Outside facilitators are not included in this benefit as NORWELD does not control the rates of their reimbursement for services.
